Working visits

To reach the strategic objective of the RUSERA-EXE Project that is to increase cooperation between Russian and European researchers through long lasting “researcher-to-researcher” cooperation, a limited number of working visits of Russian researchers to European research organisations and working visits of European researchers to Russian research organizations will be selected and funded by the RUSERA-EXE Project.

To select the appropriate candidatures for these working visits, the RUSERA-EXE Internal Call is announced by PMB both for Russian and European researchers, to offer them opportunity to apply for a stay of 10 days with a research team in EU and in Russian Federation.

The working visit should enable both organizations and researchers involved to establish a lasting cooperation.

The visit can thus be used to carry out joint scientific work, to exchange and share research activities and to plan

• a future joint proposal in FP7 (or targeting another European or bilateral RTD funding source),
• a joint publication in a scientific magazine,
• a joint paper presentation at a specific RTD conference,
• any other type of RTD cooperation which offers long term prospects.

The RUSERA-EXE first workshop

The RUSERA-EXE first workshop for RU RIN managers was held in Moscow in March, 27-29, 2007. The workshop was conducted by experts of AEER, FFG and EKT.

The agenda included the following items:

RUSERA-EXE Project Presentation, information on AEER participation in EC Framework     programmes; FFG Presentation, FFG experience in FP EU RTD Programmes and EU RU cooperation; EKT Presentation; EKT experience in FP EU RTD Programmes and EU RU cooperation; Presentation of FP7, rules of participation in FP7; How to write proposals; cultural diversity in business and international cooperation obstacles from RU viewpoint; international cooperation with the EU (state of the art – desired changes); development of content for the survey, tasks and timetable for the survey.
